This unit has a rotatable blower and tapers down to a "V" shape for those odd angle discharge installations. We use 4? ducting and recommend a minimum of 2, 4" round supply grills with this installation.
This unit will run off the new Honda eu1000i 1,000 watt portable generator, while in cool mode. Another option is to use a Statpower 1,000 Watt Inverter and 400 amp hours of battery power and you can anchor out (one average) for one night. Due to the construction of this unit, electric heat is not an option with this unit. This unit is ideal for the "tight fit" installations and is a welcomed addition to larger vessels for individual climate controlled cabins. The Mermaid Model "M5" has a rotatable blower so, no Air Discharge option is necessary.

This unit is available in Right, Left, or Top air discharge configurations. The unit produces 16,500 BTU in the cool mode and 18,000 BTU in the reverse cycle heat mode. Mermaid's second pump, the Teel 1P808 pump is designed for single unit applications @ 400 Gallons per Hour to be used with no more than a five foot vertical lift and no more than 15 feet of overall hose. This pump can be used for all Mermaid units. $89.00
Mermaid's third pump, the March LC-3CP-MD pump is the most universal pump offered by Mermaid. This pump is a single unit application pump @ 500 Gallons per Hour to be used with no more than 8 foot vertical lift and 20 feet of overall hose. This pump can be used on all Mermaid units. $234.99
Mermaid's fourth pump, the March LC-5CP-MD pump operates at just under 1000 Gallons per Hour and can be used on single unit applications where a very high "lift" is present or a great deal of hose is needed. This pump is also ideal for multiple unit applications. $449.99
Keep in mind, each unit needs a MINIMUM of 250 GPH and a MAXIMUM of 550 GPH. Vertical lift and overall hose do play a factor in the GPH at the unit. Every 10ft of hose is equivalent to a one foot vertical lift.

Manufactured out of polished stainless steel, the New model ice maker is a wonderful addition to any vessel looking for the convenience of ice on board. Mermaid's Dry-Pal Dehumidification units are an ideal addition to any vessel, camper, or RV, where dehumdification is a must. This product can be used instead of using your air conditioning system. Manfufactured out of 304-18 gauge polished stainless steel.
The Dry-Pal is available in 110v or 220v applications. This product is designed to dehumidify an area 250-350 cubic feet. It will dehumidify larger areas, however, optimal humidity levels will be more accurately achieved within the units parameters. Non-skid rubber feet are installed on each unit for the security of not damaging counter tops or tables. Ideal location for the unit is in an area where no air obstructions can occur. It is preferred on or near a sink or table where a drain can be utilized. The condensation that is accrued needs to drain to either an overboard thru-hull or a sump pump. Dry-Pal is protected with the security of a one-year warranty. 6 feet of clear 1/2 condensation hose provided.

The cooler/freezer is thermostatically controlled to your preference of either refrigerator or freezer activity. Eliminate the hassles of limited supply and storage of ice! Mermaid's Kool-Chest will keep your perishables cool or frozen! For you fisherman, we have found this to be ideal for fish and bait storage! The 12/24v model machines will have a two speed option control. The low speed is designed for a slower cooling time, yet more efficient. The high speed mode is designed for rapid cooling, yet less efficient. Typically, high speed is used to cool a "warm" chest and low speed is used for the rest of the requested cooling time. The 12/24V product utilizes the highly recognized and durable Danfoss BD-50 compressors.
